GAYAR welcomes collaboration with researchers, students, clinicians, engineers, research groups, institutions, and organizations whose work aligns with our research areas. This can include joint research, co-supervision, access to datasets or domain expertise, clinical collaboration, technical contributions, project partnerships, workshops and training, and collaboration on research or funding proposals. Participation can be remote and does not require physical presence at Eastern Mediterranean University.

Expressions of interest are always open to people who may be able to make a meaningful contribution to GAYAR. Contributions may involve active research projects, technical or scientific work, courses, workshops, seminars, bootcamps, competitions, or other research and educational activities.

We look for genuine interest in research, willingness to learn, consistency, ability to collaborate, a relevant technical or scientific background where needed, and enough time to make a realistic contribution. Participation is not restricted to EMU students or people based in Cyprus.

Support can also take the form of resources, expertise, access, training, or institutional collaboration. Direct monetary support is not currently offered through this website.

• Equipment and hardware

  Provide or facilitate access to research equipment, computing hardware, sensors, or other relevant technical resources.

• Compute and cloud resources

  Provide cloud, GPU, HPC, or other computing resources that can support approved GAYAR research.

• Software and platform credits

  Provide licenses, cloud credits, API credits, or research access to software and platforms relevant to active work.

• Datasets and data access

  Collaborate on lawful, appropriately governed access to datasets or data resources relevant to GAYAR's research.

• Technical and domain expertise

  Contribute technical, clinical, biological, engineering, or other domain expertise to research and educational activities.

• Workshops and training support

  Support workshops, seminars, bootcamps, training, competitions, or other approved research and educational activities.

• Institutional partnerships

  Explore partnerships between GAYAR and universities, research groups, laboratories, companies, or other organizations.

• Funding and proposal collaboration

  Collaborate on sponsored research and funding proposals where goals, responsibilities, and institutional requirements are clear.
